New Zealand

This is the most famous wine region of New Zealand. With the elevated vineyards and free-draining soils along with long sunshine hours and a temperate climate, makes it ideal for wine growing.

Since the first Sauvignon Blanc grapes where planted as an experiment in 1973, there hasn’t been a way back.

These days Sauvignon Blanc wines from Marlborough are considered as one of the best in the world.

Fairhall Downs Estate

This family owned winery planted their first vines in 1982 by Ken Small and son-in-law Stuart Smith. There efforts were soon rewarded and an impressive library of gold medals and trophies received since the mid- 1990’s, is still growing. All their wines are 100% Estate grown and produced. The fruit that is not up to their high standards will not be used for their wines and sold to third parties.

Fairhall Downs Estate are a truly reflection of the terrior this region is world renowned for. We are proud to present the following styles of this estate: Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
