Colour: Dark red with purple hues
Nose: An elegant bouquet of red fruit and spices
Palate: A subtle palate that shows ripe red fruit with hints of spices, Subtle oak influence rounds out this well balanced wine.
Cellar note: This wine is ready to be enjoyed now or cellar it for another 5 years.
Food pairing: A pleasant easy drinking wine that combines well with red meat dishes and slow cooked dishes like Boeuf Bourguigion.
Our view: This is the first release of the J-Block Shiraz and it is a great effort, a full bodied Shiraz without being a ‘fruit bomb’. It is full of flavour and warmth without going overboard, as we see with many other Australian Shiraz.
