Colour: Clear and bright Yellow
Nose: A pleasant bouquet with hints of citrus and nectarine
Palate: A rich palate with elegant fruit with hints of stone fruit, mild citrus. The wine has a smooth texture and well integrated oak.
Cellar note: This wine can be enjoyed now but will improve of the years.
Food pairing: This wine pairs very well with butter sauced seafood, creamy fowl dishes or a cream sauce seafood pasta. Also very nice with cheeses such as Gruyere and Port Salut
Our view: A very interesting and intensive Chardonnay, it has been partly barrel fermented and matured on the lees. This gives this wine a smooth mouthfeel and interesting complexity, something special, specially fromNew Zealand.
