Colour: very pale with green hues
Nose: on the nose shows tropical fruit, snow peas, nettles and some herbacousness.
Palate: Sauvignon Blanc shows intense flavours of passionfruit, tropical fruits and more snow peas. 2010 was an outstanding vintage in the Great Southern for fresh varietal whites, cool ferments have retained the natural freshness and crispness of the fruit. The lees were stirred weekly (Batonnage) to gain mid weight luscious palate and complexity once in bottle.
Cellar note: Drink now as the wine has been bottle matured
Food pairing: Ideal with seafood or on its own
Our view: This style of Sauvignon Blanc brings a different dimension to styles we know in Singapore. It is crisp wine but rich on a flavour and well balanced with acidity. This is a wine for people who prefer a dryer style of Sauvignon Blanc but nobody will be disappointed with this wine.
